ABOUT

Los Primos is the single biggest waterfront property in the entire Punta del Este area. A completely unique estate along the main Interbalnearia road from Montevideo to Punta del Este it was conceived as a double faceted house with the East side offering a beach house style view facing the sea with spectacular sights from sunrise to sunset, while the West side provides a more serene atmosphere, facing the pine forest and a landscaped amphitheater, that can be used for concerts and receptions.

Created by renowned architect Pachi Firpo whose striking totemic sculptures can be seen throughout the property, and Jack Setton designer of famous exploration yachts like Senses and Simson S. who brought to the project his deep understanding of what makes a house both esthetically beautiful and pleasant to live in.

The property is part of La Carolina association of owners which was created by families who have all lived in the northern part of Punta del Este, La Barra and Jose Ignacio, for many years. Their need for more privacy, larger land lots, less traffic during the high season, and more secluded beaches, led to the their partnership in the estate which is only a short drive to all the attractions in town along beautiful route 9.

The property is the only one to enjoy two separate entrances, one from the gated La Carolina estate, for guests or services, and one dedicated entrance from the main road. No one else enjoys passages or rights of way over the property, making it is completely private. Because of this lack of access, the beach is hardly ever visited by anyone other than the property's residents. Los Primos has 450 meters of direct frontage on the sea; a sand dune puts the main beach three meters lower for total privacy while still retaining evening views of downtown Punta and the sunset. The spaces in the house are expansive and all furnishings carefully selected.
